***Mother, Wife, Occupational Therapist, marathoner, triathlete, cancer survivor, registered yoga teacher, plant-based nutrition educator and much more, Aimee has a passion and interest for life that leads to an endless supply of different hats to wear.
Aimee began her career as an Occupational Therapist in 1996 after graduating from Boston University with a Masters of Science. Aimee quickly began to specialize in pediatrics working with children with a variety of disabilities.
After the diagnosis and treatment for breast cancer in 2009 Aimee began to examine her own diet. She quickly began to make the connection between the foods that were powerful anti-cancer tools, and the general behavioral and wellness benefits that these same foods would have on the children that she works with as well as her family and friends. Since then Aimee has completed a Plant Based Nutrition Certificate through T. Colin Campbell Foundation at Cornell University.
In her personal life, Aimee has always had a passion for sports, from cheerleading, skiing and mountain biking to marathons and triathlons. In 2012 she successfully completed her first half Ironman race and a “100″ mile bike ride to raise money for other cancer survivors. Most recently, she began a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training to make sure that mind and spirit were just as healthy as the body.
Beyond a single label that Aimee might have, she is passionate about sharing what she has learned, and learning all there is to know about living life to its fullest.**
